About Us |
We are a group of community members, survivors, and representatives from local and county agencies that have been at work preventing and ending intimate partner violence since 2000! We meet monthly from September through June every year and in between Task Force meetings to work on community-led and community-driven efforts to end domestic violence.
We are committed to honoring the uniqueness of each individual in our community. We believe that economic status, religion, language, race, ethnicity, ability, education level, gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation should not be barriers to getting help in our community or to joining our Task Force. We strive to be an inclusive community group and welcome input into how to improve our efforts at promoting inclusion, honoring diversity, and advancing equity in everything we do. We work on a variety of prevention, outreach, training, service, and service coordination efforts. Come to a meeting to find out more!
