It is for people at risk of harming their partner who want to learn to be safe, and for family, friends and professionals who want to support their efforts to change.

The Ware River Valley Domestic Violence Task Force currently serves Ware, Warren and Hardwick. The mission of the Task Force is to prevent, and respond to, domestic violence in these towns.
Our goals are to:
1. ensure that victims and survivors have access to necessary services;
2. educate the community about healthy relationships, domestic violence
and about resources available to victims and survivors;
3. train local professionals to respond effectively to domestic violence and;
4. teach young people about healthy dating and dating violence prevention.

The Ware River Valley Domestic Violence Task Force is funded by a grant awarded to the towns of Ware and Warren by the Department of Housing and Urban Development through the MA Department of Housing and Community Development CDBG Program.
